Aihoy!

The Vibematcher

No boat needed. Just an idea and a date.

A private boat is lovely — it just doesn't add up for two. And on the big boat you're one of forty, in the smoke, with no shade.

Aihoy! is the missing step between the two: it shows you who'll be there at the same time — and once six of you get together, the private boat costs the same per head as the crowded one.

Same boat. Same day. Different price.

A boat costs roughly the same for four people as for two. The difference isn't in the boat — it's in how many of you share it.

Big boat
€25–50
per person
Forty people on deck. “If you're lucky, you get to sit next to your own family.”
Private, just the two of you
~€85
per person
It would be lovely. You look at the price, and end up going nowhere.
Private, six or seven
~€25
per person
The same as the crowded big boat. Except nobody's sitting on the roof.

The only question left is where the other four come from. That's why I built Aihoy! Set where and when you'll be, and see who else will be there — and what they're after.Figures from a real private trip in Zadar: €170 total, up to 7 people.

For travelers

You don't need a boat to set off

Find something nearby, join someone else, or organise your own. All it takes is an idea and a date.

Trips near you

A GPS-based list — you see what's actually reachable, not an endless global catalogue.

Or organise it

A beach day, a harbour dinner, a shared trip — anything can be a trip. Post it and they'll come.

Aihoy! Radar

See who's nearby right now: travelers, sailors, crew.

Shared plans

Matched by vibe, interests and language — with people you actually click with.

Chat with translation

They write in their language, you read it in yours. Language is no barrier.

Discreet and safe

Romance? Only if you both opt in — friendly by default. Women-only trips, reporting, blocking, moderation, 18+.

Share with one link

Send a trip or your travel window to anyone with a single link — WhatsApp, a Facebook group, wherever. Whoever opens it sees what matters without the app, and can join with one tap.

Set it up once, let it run

Charter, tour operator or boat rental? Post your trips and let the app handle bookings — with zero commission.

Recurring trips

14 days × 3 slots with one tap. No need to re-enter them every day.

Booking management

Requests, approvals, cancellations, headcount — all in one place, with notifications.

Boat gallery

Separate personal and boat photos. Pictures sell better than words.

Chat with translation

Your German or Polish guest writes in their language, you read it in yours.

Captain pricing

The captain and crew aren't paying seats — so the per-person price is real.

Zero commission

What you use today stays free. We don't take a cut of your bookings.

Every trip gets a link

Every trip gets its own shareable link — post it to a Facebook group or send it on WhatsApp. Whoever opens it sees the price, the date and the free seats right away, no app required.

Just launched — be patient

In the first weeks the radar will be quiet. That's not a bug, it's the beginning. An app like this is like a new bar: it gets good once people start showing up.

If you like what you see: tell one person heading to the water this year. That's enough.

An old idea, a quarter century late

Twenty-five years ago I built a hotel-booking system. It worked. I just never saw how big the opportunity was — years later it hit me that I'd once had Booking.com in my hands, and hadn't noticed.

It doesn't weigh on me. I've made peace with the fact that back then I couldn't see it — it was meant to be. But now that there's a second idea in front of me, I don't want to let go until I get to the point where it no longer depends on me alone.

There's one thing I want to find out: whether it works.

I build Aihoy! alone, in the evenings, alongside work and a small child. No company, no investor, no marketing budget behind it — just one person looking for an answer.

If you'd like to see it continue

Aihoy! is free, and what you use today stays free. If you feel like supporting the work, a coffee goes a long way — that's roughly what keeps it running each month.

Support — Ko-fi

Support is voluntary. It doesn't unlock any in-app paid feature or advantage.
