An old idea, a quarter century late
Twenty-five years ago I built a hotel-booking system. It worked. I just never saw how big the opportunity was — years later it hit me that I'd once had Booking.com in my hands, and hadn't noticed.
It doesn't weigh on me. I've made peace with the fact that back then I couldn't see it — it was meant to be. But now that there's a second idea in front of me, I don't want to let go until I get to the point where it no longer depends on me alone.
There's one thing I want to find out: whether it works.
I build Aihoy! alone, in the evenings, alongside work and a small child. No company, no investor, no marketing budget behind it — just one person looking for an answer.
